For 22 years, Romanoff Consulting has been a one-man-show. Now, finally, I have someone to share the joys and challenges of management consulting. Romanoff Consulting is excited to welcome our first employee -- my daughter, Andrea Romanoff. Andie recently graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Philosophy, and after a two month trial period during which she determined she could, in fact, work effectively with her dad, she decided to join the firm.
This is Andie’s first foray into the business world, and she's absorbing the boat-load of information I'm throwing at her daily. She's impressed by the wide variety of different clients in different industries, the many unique personality types, and how much humanity there is in business. Andie is showing signs of developing into a great consultant, and I'm eager to watch her grow and excel.
I'm invigorated by the experience of training my first associate. Her fresh perspective is stimulating. Andie challenges my assumptions, questions my logic, and forces me to support my opinions. Collaboration is key to forming and developing new theories and approaches, and finally I have someone with whom to collaborate. With Andie's help, I look forward to further evolving my compensation philosophy.
Andie is going to take a leading role in expanding Incentive Plan Builder to a larger audience. We both believe this useful tool can and should have much broader appeal.
This is an exciting time for Romanoff Consulting . This new father-daughter team is enthusiastic about what the future will bring.
